What this website collects, why, and how to exercise your rights — in plain language.

Who is responsible
The controller for personal data processed on chatbot.ac is Some Tech Work UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Hans-Böckler-Str. 76, 65199 Wiesbaden, Germany — the company behind chatbot.ac (a sometech.work company). Questions about data protection: support@sometech.work.
What we process
- Website visits: IP address, browser type, requested pages and timestamps, processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Contact and demo forms: the details you enter (name, company, email, optional phone, website, interest and message) and your consent choices.
- Email: your address, the content of your message and technical metadata from your provider.
Cookies, fonts and analytics
This website sets no tracking or marketing cookies and uses no analytics. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so no data is sent to font or image services when you load a page.
Spam protection for our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) is loaded only once you start filling in a form, and only for that purpose.
Purposes and legal bases (Art. 6 GDPR)
- Answering your enquiry and preparing an offer or demo: pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b).
- Product updates by email, SMS or RCS: only with your consent, Art. 6(1)(a). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
- Secure operation of the website and prevention of abuse and spam: legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f).
- Retention required by commercial and tax law: legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c).
Processors and international transfers
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery, security and spam protection (Turnstile). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; Standard Contractual Clauses apply where required.
- Our CRM and email providers receive enquiries submitted through the contact form. We use providers that offer a data processing agreement; the current list is available on request.
How long we keep data
Enquiries are deleted when they have been dealt with and no longer need to be kept, unless statutory retention periods apply (for example for business correspondence that leads to a contract). Hosting logs are kept only briefly for security purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise your rights, email support@sometech.work.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — for example the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HBDI), which is responsible for our registered office.
Customer data in the chatbot.ac platform
When businesses use chatbot.ac to talk to their own customers, they are the controller for that data and we act as their processor under a separate data processing agreement. This policy covers only this website.
